Many people gather near a river, pond, or a lake to take a dip in the water to celebrate this occasion.

The Honorary Consul wishes you and your family a Happy Deepawali. Deepawali is one of the most significant festival for the Hindus. The celebration for Deepawali usually lasts for five days where people light their house with candles, fairy lights, and diyos, traditional oil lamps.
